Feet and hands can be one of the most expressive parts on the body and also one of the more difficult things to draw. It’s five digits that can contort in many positions, just like the body, and sometimes trying to render those positions is a difficult thing. The whole point to this gallery is to provide photos for artists to use as reference material.

Please note:

Not all of the images are of high quality. I do apologize for this as my camera isn’t the best of quality and I can’t always ensure crisp photos. All of these images were created specifically for referencing for 2d drawings. I cannot ensure that all images will be useable for photo manipulations!

As a fellow artist, I also encourage beginners, amateurs, and the like to study your anatomy as well! While these images are provided for easy access to gain an idea from gestures and poses, there will be distortion due to the lens. This is normal when shooting any photo, so knowledge of anatomy will help you.

Terms of Usage

All photos were taken and modeled by me, *MeliHitchcock, and my sister *GiantHamsterMech , for free access for other artists to use.

Rules for Usage are as follows:

This material can be used for any purpose. This includes: Photo manipulations, reference for paintings or drawings, or textures for possible 3D models. Go hog wild! The sky’s the limit!

For Photo Manipulations: If you use these photos for your image, write a link to this gallery in your submitted images description! You need not inform me here in this gallery. Comments for images will be disabled anyway. For Referencing: Same applies. At least give me credit for helping you. And make this gallery beneficial for other artists.

Do NOT redistribute these photos anywhere on the net! Likewise, do not claim these images either. That would be bad… and evil… and warranting a good

This gallery is for hands and feet only! Do not note me asking for photos of other body parts.

Due to my own time constraints, I am not going to take requests.

It's a crime that I haven't uploaded to this gallery in such a long while. I still have quite a few photosets that I can upload, however I don't know how long I can honestly do this seeing my fellow hand model is moving away. For now, I'll try and see what I can do for feet entries since feet have been sadly neglected!
